Einstein's scripts in the ETH-Bibliothek   Portrait of Albert Einstein ; Image Archiv, Hs_0304-1151-01
   
Albert Einstein studied from 1896 until 1900 at the Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich, and was professor of theoretical physics from 1912 until 1914. Approximately one hundred original letters from and to Einstein have to date been taken up in the Archives and Private Collections of the ETH-Bibliothek Zurich. In addition there are official documents relating to Einstein’s studies and professorship at the Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich.
